Moving Forward in Mission

On February 28, 2010 the church members voted overwhelmingly to adopt the Mission, Vision, and Plan that we prayerfully discerned through the fall of 2009.

"Building A Community of Hope Through Jesus Christ" is our mission at First Christian Church of Berryville.
We fulfill our mission through:

• Drawing people to Jesus
• Becoming more like Jesus
• Doing the work of Jesus

As we fulfill our mission, we will embody the best examples of the earliest churches described in the Acts of the Apostles:

• Believing that Jesus Christ is alive and active in our midst
• Creating a joyful, generous, and supportive community of faith that touches all parts of our lives
• Bringing hope and opportunity for all who want better lives

We seek to attract into our fellowship both

• people who need what we offer, and
• people who want to help meet those needs for others

We have an exciting future ahead of us. May God continue to guide and empower us!
