A LOT of News! Coming this Sunday!

First, MANY thanks to Dave and Shelley Buttgen and Sheri French for the donation of trees to replace ones we've lost over the years. These trees will be here 100 years from now...and so will First Christian Church! Many thanks to Bill Hudspeth and son Andrew for labor!

Second, if you have wire suitable for vines to climb up--and lumber for fence rails such as 2x6s or deck boards--we can use it! Stop by the new Folk Art &Vine Plants Garden to see our progress.

Third, MANY thanks to Don Rusterholtz  for raking the church yard leaves into easy to manage piles for transport back to the garden where they will serve as mulch for next year's bed and treads. Don, you are the man!

Fourth, and finally, we want YOU to attend our annual chili lunch followed by no more than 45 minutes of leaf hauling. Yup, we'll take Don's leaves, rake them onto tarps, and haul them to the back garden. Wear you work clothes to church, attend services, eat some chili, and then: let's haul leaves!

Be sure to bring your rake, and a tarp if you have one! See you tomorrow!
