The chair you see above was recycled out of some old lumber that was taken from a house that was being torn down. Your Community Garderners need old wood for the garden. What they will make from the wood includes"
- a trellis
- some raised beds
- chairs like the one above
- a vegetable wash stand
- a composte box
- bird houses!
If you have old lumber laying around that can be recycled, please drop it off at the basketball court by the garden, or talk to Dan and arrange for him to come and pick it up. Thank you for helping us "go green" and make the best use of what we already have.
